Focus area: Being healthy and active

The Deakin Cats Community Centre is in its 10th year of operation, and has welcomed more than 130,000 visitors through its doors. Our community centre continues to contribute to the club’s community vision to engage and empower our community to thrive in building healthy, active and inclusive lives through providing the state-of-the-art facility free of charge to community groups in the region who meet the criteria of encouraging healthy and active lifestyles for all ages and abilities.

The Deakin Cats Community Centre is the hub for the delivery of our BioCATS program, and our Past Players and Officials Association calls the centre home. The Sensory Zone and Gartland Heritage Centre are also housed in the Deakin Cats Community Centre. Featuring rotating displays, the Gartland Heritage Centre is open every Monday from 3.30pm to 5pm. Visitors can take a walk through time to experience the long and proud history of the Geelong Cats. No booking is required.
