Community Assistance

Focus area: Being healthy and active

The Deakin Cats Community Centre is in its 6th year of operation and has welcomed well over 110,000 visitors through its doors. Our community centre continues to contribute to the Clubs community vision for greater engagement with the broader Geelong community by providing the state-of-the-art facility free of charge to community groups in the region who meet the criteria of encouraging healthy and active lifestyles for all ages and abilities. The DCCC is the hub for the delivery of our BioCATS, Cyber Cats and Just Think programs and our Past Players and Officials Association calls the centre home. Featuring rotating displays, the Gartland Heritage Centre is in the Deakin Cats Community Centre. Every Monday from 3.30pm – 5.00pm visitors can take a walk-through time to experience the long and proud history of the Geelong Cats.  No booking required.
